POKÉMON DEBUTS monpoké, A NEW BRAND EXPRESSION FOR KIDS AND BABIES

Available for First Time Outside Asia, monpoké Expansion Delivers Entertainment Series, Merchandise and Book Titles from Premium Partners to Families and Children Around the World

BELLEVUE, Wash. — April 23, 2024 — Today, The Pokémon Company International unveiled that monpoké, a delightful expression from the Pokémon brand featuring curated, Pokémon-branded baby and toddler offerings, has released in additional markets around the world. Previously exclusive to Asia, the popular monpoké expression has expanded its footprint to reach the littlest Pokémon Trainers with engaging content, licensed merchandise and adorable books highlighting fan-favorite Pokémon like Pikachu, Dedenne, Smeargle and more.

“Fun Times on monpoké Island” Entertainment Series
To help parents introduce their young ones to the Pokémon world, The Pokémon Company International released “Fun Times on monpoké Island,” a series of videos starring fan-favorite Pokémon as adorable puppets. Available now on the official Pokémon YouTube channel, this series lets young Trainers join their new Pokémon pals on enthralling adventures across the island and discover the fun that awaits them.
 
monpoké-Adorned Apparel and Skincare from Bonpoint
Parents and their little ones can discover monpoké with a ready-to-wear collection for newborns, babies and children, as well as a nurturing skincare line, created in collaboration between The Pokémon Company International and French luxury childrenswear label Bonpoint. The capsule collection comprises eight pieces for Trainers between 1 month and 14 years old, and includes a pajama set, sweater, denim jacket, denim cap, tote bag and more. In addition, the skincare range consists of four special-edition products featuring an artfully stylized Pikachu. The Bonpoint skincare range is made in France and suitable for sensitive skin of all ages.
 
Capturing the playful nature of the monpoké expression with an elevated French touch, both collections are available now at Bonpoint limited locations, as well as bonpoint.com, with select items available at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. More information about this unique collaboration is available here.
 
monpoké Book Titles for Young Children from Scholastic
Young Trainers can explore the Pokémon world with a range of engaging monpoké titles from leading global publisher Scholastic. Featuring soft and sweet illustrations, the monpoké titles introduce young children to new Pokémon friends in a fun and interactive way. Parents can find “Pokémon Playtime,” a touch-and-feel adventure book, as well as “Pikachu’s First Friends” and “Pikachu Loves” available now where books are sold and at Pokémon Center in the U.S. and Canada, and coming soon to the U.K. The next monpoké title, “Pokémon monpoké: Meet the Friends,” will release on May 7 and is available for preorder now where books are sold.
