The Pokémon Company International to Host Pokémon Stellar Maze Event in New York City, Offering Trainers an Immersive Way to Experience the Pokémon Trading Card Game

Interactive Event Showcasing Latest Pokémon TCG Expansion, Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks, Taking Place Oct. 19-20

Bellevue, Wash. — Sept. 30, 2024 — Today, The Pokémon Company International announced that it is headed to New York City to host Pokémon Stellar Maze,[1] a two-day interactive experience taking place Oct. 19-20, inviting Trainers to immerse themselves in the world of the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG).

In celebration of the upcoming launch of the next expansion in the globally popular Pokémon TCG, Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks, the Pokémon Stellar Maze event will offer fans the opportunity to explore a mirrored Stellar crystalline maze inspired by Area Zero of the Paldea region. After emerging from the maze, Trainers will encounter a sneak peek at Pokémon featured in Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks, with oversize cards scattered among crystalline formations in an area inspired by the Coastal Biome, first introduced in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. In addition, a variety of photo ops and an interactive card gallery previewing select cards from Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks will await Trainers participating in this unique experience.

“We’re always looking for new ways to surprise and delight the Pokémon community, including innovative and interactive experiences that allow Trainers to engage with the Pokémon TCG in addition to collecting and playing with cards,” says Barry Sams, vice president of the Pokémon TCG at The Pokémon Company International. “Experiential moments like this create magical Pokémon memories, and we can’t wait for our fans to explore all that awaits them in the Pokémon Stellar Maze.”

Taking place Oct. 19–20 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EDT each day, the Pokémon Stellar Maze will be open to the public at no cost, and entrance will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Event attendees will have the opportunity to obtain a Pokémon goodie bag containing exciting Pokémon TCG products, while supplies last.
