Bellevue, Wash. — June 8, 2023 — Today, The Pokémon Company International officially launched the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Live app around the world on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices following the end of the global beta.
Releasing alongside Pokémon TCG Live, the digital version of the latest Pokémon TCG expansion, Scarlet & Violet—Paldea Evolved, is now available in the app, allowing players to collect and battle with new Pokémon ex and Tera Pokémon ex. When logging in, the new Scarlet & Violet—Paldea Evolved Battle Pass will reward players with a Chien-Pao ex deck. Players can also unlock a Forretress ex Premium Pass deck by redeeming Crystals that can be earned by completing daily quests.
Developed and published by The Pokémon Company International, Pokémon TCG Live allows players to enjoy the Pokémon TCG in an updated digital format. Releasing as a free-to-play game, Pokémon TCG Live offers beginner and veteran players a fun and accessible way to experience the Pokémon TCG, including various gameplay modes, daily quests, customizable avatars and Pokémon TCG accessories, as well as fan-favorite activities like building decks and battling friends.
To celebrate the worldwide launch of the app, a new line of Pokémon TCG Live-inspired hats and hoodies will be available beginning today at Pokémon Center, the premier online destination for official Pokémon merchandise in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. With bold, sporty stripes and a dynamic Poké Ball design, the hoodies resemble in-game apparel so players and their avatars can sport the same look. In addition, Trainers can receive a digital code, redeemable in Pokémon TCG Live to obtain various in-game items, with any Pokémon Center purchase of a Pokémon TCG Live Hoodie[1].
