Bellevue, Wash. — May 15, 2023 — Today, Pikachu Press, the in-house imprint from The Pokémon Company International, announced that the newest additions to the popular “Pokémon Primers” book series are available for preorder where books are sold and will be releasing around the world on June 6, 2023.
These three new books in the “Pokémon Primers” series — “Pokémon Primers: Grass Types,” “Pokémon Primers: Fire Types” and “Pokémon Primers: Water Types” — invite young Trainers to join Pikachu on an all-new journey as it embarks on different quests to find friends of these Pokémon types. Each book features a unique plot to highlight the qualities of each Pokémon type, as well as over 100 lift-and-reveal flaps for a fun and interactive experience for young Trainers. With 18 currently known Pokémon types, fans can look forward to more books exploring various Pokémon types in the future.
The “Pokémon Primers” book series is the first published product designed for preschoolers from Pikachu Press. Featuring adorable illustrations and captivating storylines, “Pokémon Primers” come in a high-quality board book style and provide children with a fun way to learn alongside Pokémon. For kids and parents new to Pokémon, each book includes pronunciation guides for each Pokémon named.
