MEDIA ALERT: The Latest Pokémon Trading Card Game Expansion, Champion’s Path, Now Available

September 25, 2020—The Pokémon Company International has launched the first wave of products from the Pokémon TCG: Champion’s Path expansion. The Champion’s Path Pin Collection, including those based on Milo’s Turffield Gym, Nessa’s Hulbury Gym, and Kabu’s Motostoke Gym; Champion’s Path Elite Trainer Box; and Champion’s Path Collection—Dubwool V are now available at participating retailers around the world. Champion’s Path is also available at PokemonCenter.com, the premier destination for official, high-quality Pokémon merchandise in the US.

Champion’s Path gives Trainers the chance to “relive” their adventures across the Galar region in the Pokémon TCG by collecting various pins decorated with Gym logos, along with foil cards representing each Gym Leader’s partner Pokémon—reminiscent of the experience they’d find in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield video games. Champion’s Path also features a number of highly-collectible cards, including 11 Pokémon V such as Venusaur V, Lucario V, and Incineroar V, plus four full-art Pokémon V; three Pokémon VMAX like Alcremie VMAX and Drednaw VMAX, which are shown in their Gigantamax forms; and one full-art Supporter card.

In addition, Trainers can look forward to the following Champion’s Path products arriving in the future:

  • Champion’s Path Special Pin Collection (available October 2, 2020): Available in two versions—one representing the Stow-on-Side Gym and another representing the Circhester Gym—with each pin collection including collector’s pins featuring each Gym’s two logos and two foil cards showcasing the partner Pokémon of both Gym Leaders

  • Champion’s Path Collection—Hatterene V (available October 23, 2020): Includes a foil promo card and foil oversize card of Hatterene V plus four Champion’s Path booster packs

  • Champion’s Path Marnie Special Collection (available October 23, 2020): Comes with two Pokémon V promo cards, eight Champion’s Path booster packs, two collector’s pins, and a Pokémon TCG playmat
